Meet Angie

Born and Raised in St. Clair County, Angie is a lifelong neighbor and friend in our communities.

After graduating from Memphis High School, she went on to earn higher educational degrees: An Associate degree in Applied Arts & Science from St. Clair County Community College and a Bachelor degree in Business Management from Baker College.

Angie’s journey began when she was hired into the St. Clair County Clerk’s Office in 2003 by then County Clerk Marilyn Dunn. She was quickly recognized for her work-ethic, and Marilyn appointed Angie to be her Chief Deputy Clerk in 2005. As Chief Deputy Clerk, Angie worked seventeen years to build her knowledge and community relationships in the Office of County Clerk.  It was her privilege to expand her knowledge and serve in that role until her predecessor, Jay DeBoyer, was elected the 63rd District State Representative.
And in January of 2023 Angie was appointed to be the St. Clair County Clerk by Honorable Michael L. West, Honorable Cynthia A. Lane and Honorable Daniel A. Damman.

Angie Waters has over 21 years of experience in the County Clerk's Office and she would be honored to continue serving the community that has helped raise her into the hard-working professional she is today.
